Chromebones, Inc., a Los Angeles, Calif.-based manufacturer of pet products and apparel, has licensed designer Christian Audigier’s name for its new line of dog clothing and accessories.
The Christian Audigier Rock Couture for dogs collection includes apparel, harnesses, beds, bowls and carriers. Packaging comes “full ready,” meaning the products are pre-packaged in display boxes.
Under the licensing agreement, Adrian Beyaz, owner and designer of Chromebones, designs the line, with Audigier signing off on it.
Mitch Klapow, director of operations for Chromebones, described the line as “edgy, fashion forward, with a classic twist.”
“It is very sort of in-your-face,” he said.
This is not the first time Chromebones has worked with the Christian Audigier name. For the last three years, it produced the Christian Audigier Ed Hardy pet wear collection. Chromebones opted not to relicense the brand this year, Klapow said, choosing the couture line instead.
Klapow said Chromebones plans to expand the line for 2009.
