Joe Corbi’s, a Baltimore,Md.-based food fundraising company, is now serving up treats for dogs. The company, which is best known for its pizza kits fundraisers, recently debuted its Deluca Dog and Friends cookie dough for dogs.
“One of the things that our families have told us for many, many years is how not only do they enjoy the products, but they really enjoy the process of making them. It’s quality family time,” said Joe Corbi’s President Rocco Violi. “Pets today are part of the family, and we want to include them as well.”
Deluca Dog and Friends cookie dough comes in two flavors, all natural Oats & Cheddar and Classic Peanut Butter. Greg Deluca, founder of Deluca Dog and Friends, formulated the cookie dough specifically for the palate and well-being of dogs while maintaining the baking aroma and look of regular cookies.
According to the company, the cookie dough is made with all natural ingredients and contains no added sugars or by-products.
During the initial launch, the cookie dough will be sold exclusively through fundraising. Violi said he anticipates the product being made available to retailers in the future.
Joe Corbi’s has helped schools, sports teams, churches, and other organizations across the U.S. raise money by selling the company’s pizza kits.
Those looking to support an organization’s fundraiser do not have to live in the region where the organization is located. Joe Corbi’s offers a direct purchase program online at www.joecorbisdirect.com where consumers are able to purchase the company’s products and contribute to a specific fundraiser by entering the name of the organization of their choice.
