Animal lovers are invited to attend the Young Friends of the ASPCA’s annual benefit for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The Shaggy Dog gala is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 16, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in New York City at The IAC Building, 555 West 18th St.
Honorary Chairperson Katie Lee Joel, the wife of musician Billy Joel, will host the event, which will feature designs by Ed Libby & Co., music by DJ Berrie, cocktails and a silent auction. ASPCA dogs will be available for adoption.
Among the guest scheduled to attend are Amanda Hearst, Gillian Hearst Simonds, Dylan Lauren, Lake Bell, Thom Filicia, Lorenzo Borghese, Maggie Rizer, Adam, Lippes and cast members of Bravo’s reality television show, The Real Housewives of New York City.
Tickets start at $160. Proceeds benefit the ASPCA.
